Uk is bursting at the seams, is it time to stop the thousands of people who flock here for our jobs?
i know it is. i am disgusted that one can so easily leave his own country in ruin for a quick buck over here. if they feel that patriotic about their own country, then how can i accept they will look after our country.

I personally feel not enough is done for the British people the government is to interested in helping the rest of the world to help its own people just look at the way the flood victims are left the government say they have not got enough people to help them as they are away protecting other countries WELL GET THEM BACK i say to help the British people then.And i also think that we should treat these immigrant the same as Australia does you have to have a qualification before you enter this country for a job, and it should only be give to to these people if no British person can do it.
Tell that to the millions of Britons who move abroad.

It's time to close the borders full stop.
Put up a huge neon sign saying 'WE ARE FULL' and then we can start deal with all the immigrants that are already here but shouldn't be.
But seriously, i believe the vast majority of this countries population (and that includes past immigrants) think that enough is enough.
Talk to Indian, Pakistani, Nigerian families who have been here since the 50's and 60's and even they are seriously worried about the influx of Polish, Bulgarians, Somalies, etc.
We only have ourselves ( i.e. the government) to blame in offering people coming here free housing, food, money, etc because we we'd only get a smack in the mouth if we asked in their countries.
The sooner the world realises that they will get nothing coming here, no help, no support and will be stuck back on a plane the very next day then they might think twice about coming to the UK.
I think (and I'm sure this may offend) that people from an undeveloped country should not be allowed to move to a developed place. It is just too much of a shock to the system and it will undoubtedly cause problems.
Anyway, I think this country is just doomed - there is nothing we can do about it any more. I'm all for emigrating out of here!
Sparky's got it spot on, Enoch Powell warned us on this saying we'd be bred out of England and he was perfectly right - yet he lost everything in trying to persuade people to listen.
we should have stricter immigration laws yes, but should not stop immigrants who have skills such as doctors and lawers who could contribute to our country
There is no more Mass Immigration, that stopped when Blunkett raised the border limits of immigrants from 50000 to 250000 it is now Ethnic cleansing and unless we do something within the next five years we are finished its as simple as that. The only thing we have is the vote, make sure you vote the right way.

Yes it is. My partner has been trying to find a job for 3 weeks and with no success. He's been told that evenb the factory and labouring jobs are all going to Poles these days

Mass immigration - legal and illegal - has transformed parts of England into foreign countries.Entire neighbourhoods are being ethnically cleansed - and it's the English who are getting out of town. The UK is not bursting at the seams. People around the world are being persecuted. If that was you, you'd 'demand' to go somewhere else. They should be afforded the same right. They are happy to do the work that English people won't do. What is your problem? When their own country's problems are resolved, they'll be more than happy to go home. Where they will proceed to never buy another English product as long as they live if they are treated badly while in England. They are not here to stay, for gods sake! And they have also created a lot of work as well. They are not taking all the housing. They are not taking all the jobs. You have been lied to.
You are so right! I just cant understand people here who are still arguing that we are getting benefit from this mass invasion. One day they will wake up to the fact that they have given their birthright away and not just theirs but their children and grandchildrens also.
Our descendants died for this country, rather than see it fold to oppression. Why should it be the British who feel now, they have no choice but to leave it behind. I hope that the majority of decent hard working people who feel this way will reconsider and not be chased out!
