Can a WV Notorary notorize a document for a VA resident?

Co worker needs their DMV signature notorized

Answers:
As far as I understand as long as the document is from WV and signed in the presence of the notary it should be ok. A better place to ask this would be at http://www.wvsos.com/notary/questionform... . It's the West Virginia Secretary of State's Notary question page.

I don't see any reason why not -- but if the resident is a resident of VA, and has their bank there, they should be able to get it notarized in VA and not worry about it.
