Small claims court in Texas?
can you be taken to small claims court, if you've been holding stuff for someone for over 3 years and they've never shown an interest in getting it back, and always had a way of contact with you? And, now all of of a sudden are threatening to take me to court for it? What are my rights? Attorneys are encouraged to reply..

Drop their stuff off and get them to sign a paper with date and statement sayin : I, (insert name) have dropped all items of so&so on DATE. and get yourself and the person to sign the document incase they still try an take you to court. If they refuse to take back the items and still threaten to take you to court make sure you record the phone call of you offering their stuff back. Also if you go to court you will not suffer consequinces other then being odered by the judge to give back the items. You also might want to get these people to sign a paper that said you offered to give back their items and list the items on the paper. Make sure you have sound proof! like a witness or tape or signed contract.
Just give the stuff back and end the relationship.
