Is it illegal to drink alcohol in public streets or any other public places?
Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is legal in my town, and illegal in the town next to us. Check your local laws, or call the city attorney or the cops and ask them.
Yep "OPEN CONTAINER", I got a ticket cutting through a park once with a six pack of Beer, it was'nt opened but, no alcoholic beverages allowed in the park, and they took my Beer ! They Suck !
In many places, Yes. Check with your local laws to know for sure. they don't have public intoxication laws for nothing.
depends where you live. In NY it is illegal to have an open container walking down the street. If you are in front of your house then no its not illegal. The worse they will do is dump out the alcohol
Depends on the state. In Colorado it is illegal to have an open drink container on the street or in a car, but legal to drink at a ball park or other public places. In Montana i beleive it is legal to have a "to go cup" if you are driving a vehicle, but you are still liable to have a legal blook alcohol level of .08%. Most states will not let you carry an open drink out of a bar. It used to be that in Amarillo, Texas this was an option determined at the precinct level. Going a mile down the street, you could be in a dry precinct where alcohol was not allowed, to a precinct with normal bars where they served you by the drink, to a precinct where you had to brown bag your liquor, carry it into the bar (couldn't be opened) where the bartender sold you a glass of your favorite mixer and you poured your own after he opened your bottle.
Well I believe restaurants and bars are public places.
