Where does the pot smokers term 4:20 come from?
I.E at 4:20 everyday people are supposed to smoke a joint.and on the 4th month and20th day ther are rallies all over Canada for the legalization of pot

In some areas 4-20 is the police code for marijuana (at least that is the reason told to me)

It is believed that a group of teenagers used to meet after school (at 4:20) and smoke pot around a statue. 4:20 became a catch phrase amongst them and was then popularized by The Grateful Dead.
It was a code for smoking pot in a country in Europe years ago and the term is still used today. 4 20 (April 20th) was the day it started. not sure about the year though.
