Probably does depend on the state, the quantity and the specific possession charge more than anything
it depends if this is a second charge you could be looking at 7 years in the prision. If its your first maybe just a couple of months, it depends
well in the lohan case, since this is her 2nd DUI in a short time period, and given her high status, one of 2 things could happen:
the judge could go easy, and shed get a severe probation punishment, or maybe a few months in jail.
Or the judge could go hard, i think 6 months-3years is the jail time period that would be in the zone of what she may get.
my friend last year got his 3rd DUI and spent 45 days in jail... so i guess it just depends on the judge
