Ebay Problem?

I bought an iPod on eBay and after more than a week the seller contacts me and says that her supplier's iPods were not up to par and wanted to refund my money back instead. She said to wait 4-5 days for the supplier to refund her so that she can transfer that money to my PayPal account. It has been four days now and I've tried to contact her twice but I still havn't gotten a reply yet. I sent her another email saying if I don't get my refund soon I would file a dispute. She has always replied to my other questions about the iPod promptly though. What should I do now? She has over 500 feedback and 99.6% positive. The iPods were a Buy It Now option and multiple other people also bought the same iPod since there were many available.

Answers:
I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt on these kinds of situations. She could have a family emergency or something along those lines.

If I hadn't heard from her in two weeks, I'd start the dispute process.

I don't know if you have ever sold on ebay but to have a 99.6% positive feedback rating with over 500 transactions, she's got to be a reputable seller. Don't give her out just yet!

Sorry for your problem! Good luck to you!

File a dispute and demand your product. When you opt to buy the ipod and won, you both entered into a contract!! Demand it!
Definitely file a dispute. No matter her feedback percentage, you're kind of getting screwed out of money right now.
If you paid through PayPal, file a dispute for goods not received. On the PayPal website, after you sign in, look for a heading that says "Resolution Center" or something like that.
what is with all the ebay questions today

anyhow , the only thing you could do is file dispute , if you paid with paypal then contact then with a dispute and you will get your money back directly from paypal . The majority of the time paypal will be in the buyers favor due to the seller not being able to prove they shipped the item . Also be sure to leave negative feedback even if the problem is fixed due to bad customer service
If your purchases have occurred within 45 days or less, you can report the seller.

Use ebay's Report an Item Not Received or Not as Described form link below and follow the directions (which has a minimum 10 day waiting period before you can make a report). The more specific you are about dates of when you paid and when you attempted to communicate with the seller, the better, because it will make the process faster and tip in your favor. Use facts; if you say the seller is a cheat and liar but don't have any proof, you wind up looking like an idiot and your issue will get placed at the bottom of the virtual poop pile before it gets looked at.

Also, be sure to make a Seller Non-Performance report so they can be taken down if they have a habit of ripping off other buyers.
