I was told mailing porn is illegal, well?

how do people have subscriptions to porn if mailing it is illegal...

Answers:
Check the Domestic Mail Manual (International Mail
Manual for overseas) there are outlines as to what can
be mailed and how it's to be mailed. There's also a "kit'
you can get at the Post office that can keep the stuff from
coming to you (unlike other bulk mail). Oversea mailings
depend on the country the mail is entering and APO/FPO
(military) mail has it's own requirements. Believe you can
get a lot more info at WWW. USPS.GOV

are you serious? thats crazy! who would have known! its covered i dont see the big deal! lol
my brother gets a Hustler every month in the mail.
It is illegal to mail unsolicited pornography, obscene material, prohibited material (such as child pornography - solicited or not) or unsolicited advertisements of a sexual nature. Subscriptions to Hustler, Playboy, Penthouse, etc. are not unsolicited and not prohibited and must be wrapped and "anonymous" in appearance (as do sex toys.. err.. marital aids.. received via mail).

I believe its only illegal when it invovles minors not adults
if it's in a plain box no one will know except you and the person you send it to
