What would you do if someone you really cared about started talking about becoming an outlaw?
What if, for example, your favorite sibling told you they were planning to commit an internet sting selling non-products, or were thinking of buying a gun to rob folks with directly? Besides trying to talk them out of it (presumably!), what else would *you* do? Is it worth trying to stop something that might never happen? How responsible would you feel to do something with the knowledge of these thoughts?

Your best bet is to tell them to quit telling you that kind of stuff, the less you know about their affairs the better for both of you!
if anyone in my family were that twisted, it would be me...and they'd never allow it...using whatever means necessary
The 1st words that came to mind were-
"Are you fu**in" nuts, you dumb idiot. You are to cute to go to prison. Wake the fu@k up."
I would go on like that and probably hit them and they would be surprised.
We would eventually laugh and talk about hope.
I would not feel responsible for anyone else's idiot decisions. I have enuf'
idiot decisions of my own to pay for.
I would definitely try to stop them and feel that it was very worth it.
