Do lawyers deserve their bad image?
Lawyers are seen as people who take advantage of people. Is this true. Do they deserve this?
Answer:
Most of them, no.
But then you have a few bad apples that spoil the image for all of them.
You could also ask if all salesmen are pushy. If all store clerks are sullen. If all ski instructors are high. Okay maybe that last one is true :)
Some do.Lables will always be placed on groups,never single people.
Yes i do, they earn a colossal amount of money for standing in court and lying through their teeth.
They also represent some right dodgy people and get them off of awful crimes that they have committed!!!
It must be true because allot of them go on to politics after screwing all those hard working people.There is no reason you should have to pay a lawyer so much when most people make about $7 an hour. We must be crazy to put up with this.Sometimes you need a lawyer for no reason of our own and then we have to take out a loan to pay for it.
Some do! They are ambulance chasers waiting to get $$$$But, If you need one it's a different story.
not all are bad people some lawyers won't rep. someone who really is gualty and most of the ones who do have too. the state apoints them...and I know that is it came to me and the state was like you have too i am going to do..now it is true the get paid alot of money to do nothing really but....they also go through like 8 more years of school than most people. plus their bar exams you have no idea the crap they have to go through to get the money for standing in court and "do nothing" which that isn't everything there is the research, the talking with everyone that is involved with the case. plus worring in moost cases how you are going to win..
As with almost any group, some do and some don't. A lot of lawyers are pretty good guys, doing pro-bono work for people they honestly believe in. But they get lost under our image of the ones who get huge amounts of money for needless lawsuits.
Some do.. some don't. They are a necessary part of society, and one of the cornerstones that protects the Constitution. Yet, the definition of success has created too many of them and some of them are just in it for the money, or are forced to do things just to make money.
It's the whole ambulance chaser syndrome. Frivolous civil law suits don't help the system. Law that doesn't mean anything other than MONEY is where they get the bad reputation.
There are some seriously righteous lawyers out there in the world. The bad reputation comes from the money grabbers that bog down the judicial system with stupid law suits.
Not all lawyers are sneaky, underhanded, lying cheaters. My mother was a paralegal for a great lawyer who was not only smart, but fair and honest. A lot of people don't seem to understand how complex the legal system actually is, and until a person has to go to their law library to look something up for themselves, they will be under the misguided notion that all lawyers do is stand around all day and do nothing.
Now, not all lawyers have the same intergity that my Mom's boss had. Some do indeed deserve the shady reputation that seems to follow them around. There are upstanding people in the legal profession out there too. It's wrong to apply a general label to all lawyers based on the lack of ethics seen in only a certain percentage.
CONSIDER THIS:
Lawyers and Attorneys are AGENTS TO AND OF THE COURT.
Their clients are second in line to satisfy.
It is the Liar's and Attorney's duties to GET THE CLIENT TO AGREE TO LESSER CHARGES AND PAYING FINES AFTER PLEADING GUILTY ... SO THAT THE COURT MAY BE SATISFIED AND THE GODDESS THAT IS BLIND FOLDED AND HOLDING THE LOP SIDED SCALES WILL SMILE UPON ALL HER CHILDREN IN THE CULT OF THE BAR.
Serious ... the Liar's and Attorneys are not obligated to help their clients - if so - why would their clients HAVE TO BE REPRESENTED? Know what Represented means? It means you turn your rights, life and soul over to the Lawyer or Attorney so they can re-present you ... so they can offer you up as a worthy sacrifice to their cult goddess - shoot;
Even the so called HONORABLE JUDGE ... he wears a dress and has done so years before it was an acceptable practice for men to wear woman's clothing.
The Honorable Judge does this so he can look like his mother - his goddess that wears the blind fold because she might actually have some form of consciense ... wherein her children have no morals at all - only greed and corruption - ruling over the innocent by trumped up charges that they can sleep at night much easier after knowing they have committed much evil ... and the rest comes easy for those like that.

The majority of them do. Only the high-profile law firms actually do something for their clients. The rest couldn't care less about the people they represent, as long as they get their fees.
