What happens??

If someone appeared in court and was ordered to go to jail for 10 days and does not follow through with the orders what happens to that person? Do they serve a warrant for arrest, as they do if the person didn't not appear in court?

Answers:
If they do not show up to serve their time, a warrant will be issued. When they're picked up on the warrant, they will have to go back in front of a judge, who may revoke more of their time or the privileges they may have received while in custody.

Generally, when someone is sentenced they have some stayed time "hanging over their head" (meaning that if they get in more trouble or fail to abide by the terms of their probation, the judge can make them serve more time.) Failing to serve the time could be grounds for the judge to tack on more time, including loss of privileges such as work release and HUBER.
