What are the steps on suing someone?
I just graduated high, so I should learn this now. If I ever had to sue someone, how could I sue someone for money?
Answers:
1. Send them a demand letter, demanding they do whatever they need to do to fix the wrong you are basing your suit upon.
2. Figure out what court ou are going to use to file your claim/cause of action (venue).
3. Draft a Complaint, a notice of the causes of action with the relief sought. Serve the other party(ies) personally, with a process service or use a friend to serve the documents. File the papers with the Courthouse.
4. Let the legal process commence.
Get a lawyer. He or she will take all the necessary steps for you.
In order to sue someone for money you need to establish first and foremost that there is some kind of liability contractual or otherwise.
E.G. A lends to B the sum of £500 and B agrees to pay back the sum in 30 days. If B then defaults on the contract B may be sued by A.
The process of suing someone can be done by the layman in the Small claims court. It is a simply procedure of filling in some forms and paying a court fee. In fact it is now even possible to do it online!

What are the odds that you are ever going to be in a position to sue someone for money?
Only in America. Civil court for minor problems otherwise you are likely just a greedy fool looking for a chance to bilk some fool out of his money.
Live your life and unless there is a malpractice situatuion or something relevent.
Earn money for youself and don't even think about lookin for opportunties to sue when you have little recourse.
Frivilous lawsuits another great American pastime.
