What are the pro and cons using SSC (social security number)?

Use only for governmental or business purposes if not you are setting yourself up for identity theft.


one con... back in the 80's my family and I belonged to an institution who used people's SSNs as their account numbers.

Thankfully they have changed that since.
Only when absoluty necessary and then only for an employment app. or if it is required by a government source.
