Answers:
The DA is short for the district attorney. He/she decides whether to charge someone with a crime. A verdict is the decision that is made by the judge or jury when a case has been tried.

District Attorney? Verdict is the outcome of the trial. (Sorry I misunderstood the word you had typed.) Court is a formal procedure, following the traditional justice system. Magistrates courts deal with less serious offences crown courts would normally deal with more serious offences such as murder rape etc. If you are interested in the courts you should have a look at the criminal justice system website below. The system is far too complex to go into here. If you are in the UK you can view Case at your local courts if you want to. Unless it is a closed session, you have a right to sit in on the trial. I'm not sure how it works in other countries, but phone your local court and ask.
The term "DA" is an abbreviation, for district attorney one who has the power to prosecute those who are accused of a crime, until proven gulity or innocent by a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
