Am i able to arrest my sister?

My sister is 16 and an 'ex' drug addict (to which we believe) I'm 14 and she tends to steal alot from me. She's been stealing from me basically since she was 12 and over the years shes stolen everything from nailpolish to cash. She's taken quite alot of things and i've been putting up with it for a while. I'm sick of it. You cant even say i have a relationship with her anymore. She threatens me on a daily basis if she cant have one of my items and today she told me that if she couldnt have a pair of shoes then she would rip me apart and kill my pet parakeet.

shes sick. but i was wondering if i was able to call the police next time she steals something valuable

or will they not care since shes my sister and i'm only 14

Answers:
Yes if you feel your in danger you need to notify someone immediately, You can probably have her arrested on threats or aggravated battery if she hurts you, I recommend talking to your guardian first before either of you do anything drastic, This sounds like a serious matter, Please be safe

I would if shes giving death threats.
Uh...What are your Parents doing about this? The Police will refer the situation back to them.
Where are your parents while all of this is going on? Doesn't sound like she is an ex-addict. In today's society I wouldn't take her physical threats idly, I would take them very seriously. If you can't talk to your parents about what is happening, then talk to a school counselor. If you have a video recorder I would set it up where ever she approaches you most and get it on tape, may be this will help convince your parents that she needs help. It may come down to involving the police.
