How do i get my stuff back?
so i hired this lawyer who i met when i closed on my house, to do all the estate stuff last year when my dad passed. I have been trying to contact her since november and she wont call me back, she has the titles to my dads pick up truck and his harley and i need them to put them in my name. and i have already paid her, how can i get my stuff back?

Lawyers respond to letters more readily than phone calls. (Pieces of paper have to go in the file, voice mails are easily deleted and forgotten.)
I wouldn't go with any of the threats in the posts above unless you actually make contact and she still avoids you.
court order to get your stuff back if she is all paid up and you don't own her anything she can be order by the courts to return you stuff
contact the state bar association, file a complaint,,that will get fast action from her
I would physically visit her office. This assures three things, she is still in business, still at the number or office your calling, and you can talk to her faceto face. If she remains elusive, hire another attorney and see if they can get the items as usually attorneys scratch each others backs. Last resort, file a complaint with the local bar association and maybe pay a visit to the attorney generals office for your town, municipality, or county.
Send a letter itemizing the documents you request to be returned to you. Be sure to include a due by date.
Also include that if the items are not provided by X date, you will be filing a complaint with the State Bar.
This will get a response.
