Laws are for the guidance of the wise because they are supposed to be a reflection of our ever changing moral society. We must recognize that so that we may change them when necessary.
Laws are for the adherence of fools because a fool will blindly follow the law without knowing what it is or why it was made.
It should always be kept in mind that we create our laws, they do not create us.

Laws are for Barristers to get rich and Laws are there to lock up poor people who cannot afford them..
Laws separate the wise from the fool.

It's a shame then that fools ( think hoodies,chavs, gang members etc.) don't know this.
I say some laws are rather foolish.

The problem with your hypothesis is that there aren't any wise men on earth, we are all fools. So may be the only solution is to abolish all Laws, and while we are about it lets also get rid of all law makers, all law enforcers and all legal practitioners? What a wonderfully happy world we will then end up with?
