Ethics are pretty much what you will and won't ever do. Like, if you would rob a store or cheat on your partner, people would generally say you have poor ethics. If you wouldn't even consider doing either of those things, people would say you have good ethics.
You could probably figure out how they'd come into play in business and personal life.
Ethics - a system of moral principles or rules of conduct (corporate ethics, societal ethics, medical ethics, judicial ethics, etc.).
They are the cornerstone on which a civilized society is based.
Being ethical means that you do the right thing for the right reasons even though you could do the wrong thing and get away with it.
It is a matter of being fair in all situations.
I hate ethics in the medical profession because I couldn't date a nurse. We were getting along really well also. So I really want to scream profanity at whoever thinks that is right.
