I think pot should be legalized and cigarettes should be illegal as they're EXTREMELY bad for u?

pot should be legalized as its all natural and cigarettes should be illegal as they have more chemicals in them than a waste dump like seriosly though if you look up whats in a cigarette its 3 PAGES LONG and one chemical in it is 50 letters long thats almost twice the alphabet! oh and hemp is non smokable pot so why is it illegal ? i learned that hemp can be used as paper so we could save trees if it was legal to. (by the way i know what you're thing and im not some random pothead trying to legalize it to get high) so what do you thinkshould they legalize it?

Answers:
I think marijuana should be legalized for medicinal purposes... as far as cigarettes, it'll never happen...the tobacco industry is the strongest republican-owned conservative force in the world.the right wing would never let go of it's greatest ally...smoking kills people and gives them cancer and heart disease.cancer and heart disease are treated with over-priced pharmaceuticals.the pharmaceutical industry is owned by the republican conservative world.get the picture? Conservatives thrive off of the death and disease of Americans...why would they illegalize their most successful industry?...

I'm glad I know what you think. Tobacco is natural it's the crap in it for processing. If you think that pot has no health risk think again.
I'm sure the cigarette companies would love to see pot legalized. They are the only ones who are equipped to mass produce and market the pot cigarette. Then it will be loaded up with all the chemicals the cigarettes have now.

By the way, just because it's "natural" does not mean it is any safer to suck smoke into your lungs. It's still the same lung, throat, and mouth cancers.
Legalizing pot would take all the fun out of it.
Do you listen to KMK or KingSpade? Seriously, I'm with you all the way on this one. Also, the production and distribution for marijuana counts for a ton of violence in the US, which could be cut down by legalizing it.

It's only illegal because it's a natural plant and therefore the government cannot put taxes on it.
I think adults should be free to make their own decisions as to what goes into their body.
in a free society, the use of those vices should be left up to the discretion of the individual , not you or the government.
Pot, because it is unfiltered and you hold it in your lungs longer, is at least as bad for your health as tobacco. You are still burning plant matter that produces all those fun chemicals like aldehyde, tar and carbon monoxide. Further, recent studies have demonstrated that smoking pot, due to it's obvious effects on the brain, makes a person more susceptible to psychotic episodes.

All that said, why makes you think the government has the right to tell people what they can do to their own bodies? If you want to smoke pot, tobacco or grape leaves, or if you choose to inject various substances into your veins, it is not the government's business so long as you are not harming others. The government has been given that power by a bunch of self righteous clowns who want the government to be their mommies and tell them how to live their lives. That's fine, but how do they come off telling others what they can and cannot do to themselves?

In short, decriminalization of all drugs would not result in any more drug users but would result in less violent crime and lower law enforcement costs. There are no statistics that demonstrate otherwise and plenty that support my assertions.

Oh, yes. The point about all natural: Botulism and argot are both natural, as is heroin and alcohol. Being all natural DOES NOT make anything safer.
You might want to separate your stances. Being a zealot to illegalize tobacco doesn't really support your desire to legally get high.

It is the same zealotry that got marijuana and even alcohol banned.

Just support freedom. The freedom to choose how we live, even our own vices, that was once the foundation of this country. Always be careful about giving government the power to criminalize things it should have no say in.
Cool. What are we going to do with the current percentage of prison population that committed felonies under the influence of pot then ?

Motherf*uckers supporting pot and "freedom" do not know sh*it.
