Just had anti-advertising propaganda shoved down my throat again...?
What's a libertarian like me to do? It was the documentary, "advertising and the end of the world" by sut jhally. Can anyone provide me with an alternative perspective on advertising. I don't think it's going to end in disaster and I don't think advertising's much more than a personal nuisance. Where can I find sources to back me up on that (besides those Penn and Teller clowns)?

There are some things that you just don't need sources for.
If some person is attempting to promote such a radical idea that advertising will bring the downfall of all civilization, a bizarre idea so far outside of normal logic, then the burden of producing evidence is entirely on them.
What exactly is "anti-advertising propaganda"?
Is that kinda like jumbo shrimp, or government intelligence, or Dallas Cowgirl ethics?
