Crazy Neighbor?
My next door neighbor is a nut case she has called the police on us twice in the last two weeks. She is making up stories and the police are believing them? She claims that my children threw rocks in her driveway yesterday when they werent even outside all day? There were rocks in her drive but I honestly believe she put them there herself . What is the best way to stop this madness!

First, the police cant find blame unless they have proof. They should come and interview you and get your story.
Explain to the police that you have problems with your neighbor and that she is making false claims.
The BEST way to stop this is to get a small camera, (they are extremely cheap now days), and hook it up outside, looking over your property and toward hers.
When she makes these false claims, show the video proof to the police and then file a restraining order.
If you have the ability to do so...put a fence on your property to shield her from you. Go all the way out to the curb, if you have to.

Write down a log of everything she does to harass you, with no records you have nothing.

As far as I know, throwing rocks in someone's driveway isn't a crime.
The best way is go & speak to her. If she has got hurted with any of your acts which she felt was wrong.
& If your intentions are good than try & clear your thoughts on the same. Be polite & talk unless & untill she gets angry.
I think your problem will get solved once you talk & try to short out the problems she has with you guys.
setup a web cam lookinh at her property 24 hr a day and record it.

Wow...that is really horrible! She really does sound nuts! If I were you, I'd call the police and tell them exactly what's happening, and ask them what you should do. If they won't listen, talk with a lawyer. They should have the perfect suggestions. Good Luck!
Well you can sue her. Or just move. If your neighbors are hostile towards you and your children, it maybe in your best interest to move to a different neighborhood. Life is too short to fight with someone who may be mentally insane. In the Cincinnati area, we had a crazy neighbor shoot and kill a kid because he walked across the person lawn. The guy was the neighborhood nut.
Put up a fence and tell your kids to stay away from that part of the yard. I would also go to the police station and talk to them about your concerns. Even though she's nuts (trust me I know I had one of them too!) be polite and don't call her names while discussing the problem with the police. They will then see she is the crazy one and you are just a nice person trying to mind her own business.
You can't get her to stop calling them, but they will see it as her crying wolf after a while.
you have to follow the same steps like we do here!!:
1- go speak with the lady or invite her for a cup of tea in your home and discuss how you can satisfy her!!
2- listen to what she says from between the words
3- act accordingly if you accept the solution she proposes
4- else:if there is no hope or she is acting like a fool.. so please also you have to act stupidly with those @$$holes
a- wound yourself and go say they caused you this wound!!
b- through garbage in her drive way!
c- through rocks in your drive way and call the police!

A survelence camera aimed at her front yard and driveway, would prove who is doing the rock thing or stay up all night and watch. It's probably going to become a bigger problem, if you're renting...consider moving to a better neighborhood.
Document, video tape o record if possibly every incident.
Get a restraining order and sue her for harassment.
ignore her as best you can.she is probably trying to make you move out so dont. record everything you can.dont fight fire with fire,it usually escelates the situation.as a last resort put up a wooden privacy fence at least 6 feet tall with no peep holes,this will basiclly shut her out
I would say talk with her and get to know her. There is something behind why she is making these complaints and maybe you can encourage and she will quit. Otherwise, I bet these calls will go away becaue they are not worth the time of the police to pursue. We had a similar problem where a neighbor kept call the humane society for silly reasons and every they came to our house they found nothing substantial. Eventually they quit coming when she called.
Be better than her and pay her a visit.
The objective of your visit will be to establish good relation with her, tell her that you and your family have no reason to tease her or cause her any inconvenience, on the contrary we like you and we can have good relation and better life if we are in good terms. Invite her to visit you, let your kids talk to her, that will create a sort of good relations between them.
I know it is a hard step to make with tough neighbor, but believe me some persons looks aggressive but they have kind hearts, so try to reach her kind part and I am sure you will gain a good loving neighbor.
