What does PLLC or PA mean? ex. Jane Doe and Associates Law Offices, PLLC; or Smith and Smit Law Office, P.A.?

Answers:
ya wat he said haha... and um PA can also mean Pennsylvania haha

Professional Limited Liability Company and, I believe, Professional Association.
Stiggo's close. It's Professional Limited Liability Corporation
(and Professional Association).
Stiggo and Bobdan__ are both correct.

It might be either "company" or "corporation" depending upon the state/country.

You see those terms because attorneys (and some other professions, such as doctors or therapists) are often prohibited from forming normal corporations -- the way most other business and professions can. That's to prevent them from being immune to malpractice suits.

But the state laws allow them to form PAs or PLLCs to limit their liability in other areas (slip-and-fall accidents, etc.)
