Why do administrative employees at veterans home in yountville ca. spend their time denying member's requests
have they forgotten they are here to make our last years more comfortable,or are they spending all their time on their own twisted egos and job security?

I sympathize with you because veterans care is not what it should or what was promised.
The reason why the administrative people turn down your request is the same reason that the bridges are falling down in this country.
Most of my request to the VA have been met. Lately it has just taken longer.
The fault is in our government to much of the budget goes to warfare and not to our infrastructure. When it comes to war there is nothing they won't pay for. No new weapon, now new campaign, no request from the pentagon is turned down. When it comes to social problems. It is screw the veterans, screw the public, screw the middle class and screw the poor.
Unfortunately it is not the people it is the system.Vote for change if you want different results.
