Should there be limitations to the fourth amendment?
Answers:
Hell No! Why the hell would you even want to do that?
Terrorism is not a valid reason. Terrorism is by definition a political act. as long as we continue to attack and destroy innocent people in the middle east, the innocent people who live become terrorists. The solution to stopping terrorism is not more spying and limiting rights, it is positive change in our foreign policy in favor of expanding human rights, not contracting them!
Benjamin Franklin had a favorite phrase of his own invention that he used in several letters: "Those who would sacrifice liberties for temporary security deserve neither."
in the context of that quote, what do you think you are suggesting? sacrificing liberties perhaps?
Let's not get confused about the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. These apply to U.S. citizens, not to citizens of any other nation. Radical Islam has clearly stated their intent to destroy Isreal and the U.S. That makes them enemy combatants, subject to the rules of war, but never with a claim of "Constitutional Rights" as if they were citizens of this country. The fourth ammendment should be upheld one hundred percent for U.S. citizens however.
Heck no I shouldn't limit my ability to arm bears....Wait wrong amendment? Let me look this one up..
Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Nope, no limitations should be made. Only if there is probable cause should I have anything of mine be searched or seized. The probable cause had better be something more than the fact Im short, white, and homely (This is ment for humor due to the fact most women I know are looking for a guy who is tall, dark, and handsome).
Limitations on limitations ? No.
