Why we keep saying that we won't let terrorists jeopardize our freedom and we let the gov't eavesdrop on us?
they are using the terrorists as an excuse for eavesdroping on our privacy compromising our freedom and privacy. looks like that the terrorist are succeeding then. our four fathers fought and gave their blood for the freedom and the constitution . as far as i am concerned it is our turn to continue that fight, even if some of us die or be terrored by the terrorists. our blood is not more colorfull than our ancestors.it will be the worse mistake and our children will never forgive us for that. wake up America

Fear is one of our worst enemies. We do not know what their true intentions are when they make these policies "in our best interests, " They have tighten the reigns, more and more and for what. Things have only gotten worst. They have technology to put a satellite in the space that can monitor activity in any ones town, right down to the house that you live in. The police can be several blocks away and can evesdrop on a conversation in your home and they cannot find Bin Laden! Give me a break! If they really wanted to find him they could, but I don't think that they really want to. I just think that Bin Laden and Al-Qeda is a distraction. I believe that there are some Muslims out there committing acts of terrorism, but I think that there are also people out there committing acts of terrorism that are not Muslim and blaming it on Muslims and Islam, to put fear in peoples hearts and steer there fearful minds in any direction that they please, to justify implementing these policies"in our best interests" and to fight "the terrorists". Wake up everybody!
But...everytime they listen to my phone calls, another terrorist dies, right? Or Bin Laden is one foot closer to being caught!
Being eavesdropped on has some advantages over being hit by falling airplanes.
Because in this time of Orwellian fascism, we must "give up our liberties" to "protect our freedoms." We must "wage war" to "keep the peace."
Lets explain this in simple terms. If a terrorist is E-Mailing or talking on a cell phone and it happens to use an American router or computer, then we will listen.

Think of all the good things the government has made illegal and imagine the ease with which Big Brother can enforce the most ridiculous laws if only they can peak into your nightly conversations with your wife.
