Does anyone know how much crime lawyers get paid per day?

Answers:
It depends. Most Criminal attorneys are small time -- they help people out and many of their cases are court appointed. The state will only pay so much (In Nebraska anywhere from $60 - 75 per hour) and the hours that are billed by Criminal attorneys are not the hours they work -- you may work 1 - 2 hours for 1 billable hour. Plus you have to pay your staff, and overhead (things like rent and electricity) out of that.

Plus, criminals are the WORST at paying their bills. And since Lawyers don't get paid unless their clients pay their bills -- that makes their pay even less.

Generally, I would guess that the range across the US on an ANNUAL basis would be $50,000 to $150,000 per year and up -- because some criminal attorneys get paid much more as they work for higher end clients.

depends on their experience and level.
