There was complete strike in Kashmir,Poonch,Doda,Kisht... Rajauri & Kargil. Isn't writing on wall v. clear ?
Like every year for last 18 years people of Kashmir Valley , Poonchh,Doda,Kishtwar, Rajauri, Kargil,Nubra, Zanskar & parts of Leh observed COMPLETE STRIKE by the call of Hurriyat Conference on India's independence day in the DISPUTED STATE despite over 1 million Indian INSECURITY forces' announcement to defy that. On 13 th July, the Martyres Day too they already observed complete strike & showed d world what they want. That shows real mood of people who clearly know real dispute of the state fully well who r not babies. They're firm on their international legal right of self determination to be exercised. But the brainless jingoists who r dishonest, unjust, frauds, hoodwinkers & believers of goonda type brutality, oppression, repression, suppression, victimisation, subjugation & bludgeoning into submission of innocent beautiful, completely clean & transparent people of state by army do not admit publicly the reality. Shoudn't d dispute be solved earliest to bring peace & 100% JUSTICE ?

A small minority of people can enforce strike in a certain area
and therefore it does not mean anything.Muslims of Kashmir
may be afraid of not participating in the strikes and some 10% may be supportive of their call for strike.If the protestors
have so much public support why they not fight the election
and take a resolution that they want to join Pakistan after 60
years? The problem is alive because of US otherwise it could have been solved amicably a long time ago.Most
of the Urdu speaking Muslims have supported the creation
of Pakistan and collaborated with the British for partition.
Now they are staying in India with full honour.Let them not
foment any trouble so that people are not made conscious

Rallies and strikes are organised by leaders of political parties to demonstrate their strength. The real hopes and aspirations of the people are reflected by the ballot box or EVM, now!I
The failure of these leaders to avail the elections till now establish that reality is quite a diferent item.
Why did they start only 18 years ago ? Many of these rebel leaders had secured education,ration,position,,pen... etc under the Indian Constitution, which hey defy now.
All these had been functioning as citizens of India,only. They haven't renounced citizenship yet. Their theoretical citizenship of the princely State, got merged with Inia, si decades ago.
So, they are free to renounce their citizenship and migrate to such land as may be hospitable to them. But they don't have any right to secede from the nation-state of India.
Indian Constitution does not vest in anyone right of secession. So, let them carry their mood to their 'jannat' if possible or 'jahannum', which is more likely for their crimes against fellow citizens, which are crimes as per Divine Law oo.
Kashmir is not a 'disputed' State. Kashmir finds its name in Sanskrit literature even before any of the religions of today were born.

Nehru made a blunder by referring Kashmir to UN. He should have allowed the army to take over Kashmir in full and then enforced Stalin type resettlement to make Kashmir an integral part. All this ***** footing and laws allowing only Kashmiris to hold land and giving them special status and heavily subsidised food for the last sixty years at the cost of other Indians has been to no avail. Kashmir was not part of Arabia- it has always been a part of India. So having the land even by army occupation is OK. Those who don't like to live there can go to Pakistan and live happily ever after along with the Taliban and get funds from Saudis , Iranians etc and mount jihads. The Government should take a pragmatic approach. Or we can sell the land to the Kashmiris- let them reimburse the cost so far incurred on various measures and the developments which they enjoy.
