My Biological Father owes 78,000 dollaars of child suport. When I turn 18, can I sue him for the money?

Answers:
No, because the money is owned to your mother, not you.

Your best bet at getting a right answer is asking a lawyer, but I would say you could sue him.
I imagine so, but whether or not you would get it is another story. I'd think that most of it would go to your mother since she's the one who paid your expenses.
The money was owed to your mother. I don't see where you have a claim.
Your mother can. If he owes that much he probably doesn't have it in savings so you won't get a lump sum anyways.
I'm not sure, but you could ask a lawyer.
ok are u that desperate for his money and the time it takes to do this? he was not in your life so why do u want to bring him in it now?
i have custody of my only child and my ex owes me money .i dont need it from her my son dont need it either...

are u that angry inside?
He will always owe the money so there is no need to sue. Simply insist that your state child support office keep the case open and wait! When he retires they can attach his social security check. The money is owed to mom as long as she is alive. If she should pass, you would become the payee. Best of luck------
U might want to seek a lawyer for more info. but keep in mind that once your 18 yrs. he doesnt have to pay child support anymore. I should attempt to before your 18. beside s child support has to done and approved by a judge, than by law a company docs $ from him and later cuts a check monthly to your parent of guardian. Good Luck!!
