Do you think that people lie more about police brutality more than it actually happens?
What do you think do you think people are now taking advantage of their rights to make it harder for officers or are police not that bad.
Answers:
I think that 99.99999% of criminals would do whatever it took to get away with thier crime even if they are caught.
Crying "police brutality" is just one weapon in their huge arsenal.
No I think it actually happens more than people report.
Oh yes. When there is video tape evidence, 94% of complaints against police are shown to be false.
Yes, I think that people lie, and continually de-grade our American Police Officers. I know this happens all the time. I have witnessed Police Officers being abused by drunks, drug abusers and teenagers. People have No Respect for the Laws of this Great Nation. Sadly , No Respect for our Police .
My friend's brother was shot in the back of the head by an officer and they called it "self defense". Now you go ahead and explain that one.
Most likely, police brutality is under reported. This may be because the beaten person is threatened or because the police tend to protect each other and sweep such allegations under the rug.
If you live in a big city, take a look at the next cop car you see. Chances are there are softball sized circular dents in the hood. Those dents are made by suspects' heads being slammed into the hoods.
Another thing you will notice is that the Taser is being abused in most major metropolitan areas. It is a device that leaves no marks but is very effective in tormenting a person.
Police Brutality happens much more then reported as well as police entering apartments without warrants.
I do believe that a lot of people do lie about police brutality because they hear about people who win millions from cases that should never have gone to court in the first place. Some cases are for real, but the percentage of people who are really brutalized are in direct proportion to the good guys and the bad guys in real life.
It is hard to say without strong evidence or witnesses. I think a criminal would lie to get charges dropped.
this is an interesting question. year's ago when this topic began on the new's they would show alot of stories about police brutality. good cop's are great. but i have to say i believe their are alot of shady cop's out there for sure. i'm sure that we all agree that there alot of crazy creepy people out there along the line's of rapist murderer's ect.. dont you think that some police men and women have mental issues as well? there are police rapist's you hear it on the new's often. there are alot of prejiduce cop's out there, who will be more severe on black's. there alot of power hungry police out there who delve in to the world of drug's and such. the list of all this goes on and on.
i mean even in the churches you wouldnt expect a priest to do harm to a child. not there in god's house the place you would least expect it.
just because a person take's on a role where they are expected to protect and serve the citizen's of america does mean that it work's out that way.
we cant close the door and be ignorant to cop's and just assume that they will do the right thing. cop's need to be monitored just as much as the murderer in a jail. it's sad that we cant jsut put all our trust in them but they are human's as well as you and me.
i hope i answered the question well
In the world I grew up in, if an officer ordered you to stop, you stopped or else you belonged to him to do with as they wished. I still believe that most people that belong to the USA and grew up here have no problem with real officers that protect the peace and safety of the homes and cities we live in. To twist the laws and protect the people that do not obey the simple orders of an officer are the same people that wish to destroy the freedoms that we enjoy here in the USA. Their victory is at the cost of your freedom.
burka anyone?
No I'm think they get caught and go prison
