Do we pay a big price for life of luxury in UK?

Fast track life, full of stress and always chasing ££ to keep up with increasing interest rates. Not to mention credit card companies out there to squeeze out the every last penny you have left. Not to mention tolerance to drugs and prison sentences and civil partnership for not so straight people. What a farce of society we live in. Truely doomed.

Answers:
I think that the real price will have to be paid in a few years. Britain - and most other European countries for that matter - have brought up 2-3 generations now in the "life of plenty". We don't understand any more what it means not to have everything we need as those people do, who have lived through or were brought up just after the war.

I fear that when things get tough people will not be able to adjust and cope. And with the move of jobs to Asia, increasing natural disasters and further increases in interest rates things will change.

Hipira took the words right off my fingertips.
You did not plan to be born or found in UK, therefore you should not get worried with the cost of living. If the Lord is able to keep birds what more with you as His own image. The little you get remember to pay your tithe. The Lord will open more doors for your blessings. If you start doing what I've said, your finances will be well protected by your Lord.
