Why do most people think they have no faults?
Listen...I am a covicted felon. I served 5 1/2 years in prison for robbery. What did I rob? On a dare I robbed a covenience store with an air pistol. I was 19 and stupid. Did I scare the heck out of someone? Absolutely and it was very ignorant of me. It was not right, irregardless and I will never think it was justified, but I have changed. I now own a business and am a productive member of society. At 30 I have learned alot. But let me tell you something. I HAD to start my own business. Why? Because I could not even get a job at Walmart. When you are released from prison you run into many brick walls. Many get out and once they reajoin society it becomes very difficult to be a normal person when certain things become so complicated to obtain. My point behind this is actually aimed at those who think that somebody should suffer for the rest of thier lives. Judge not or yee shall be judged. Not everyone is a child molester or murderer. Have a little compashion.

i basicaly did the same thing...one thing I dont do, is piss an moan about what you cant controll.....compassion. do you require? somebody patten you on the head every day, tellin you how good your doin'? Once a con, always a con, act like it...
You think you had it bad? I am/was a special ed teacher. Because I am legally blind I require extra time to completer paperwork. NOBODY would allow that accommodation, even with letters from eye doctors! I do not have a job and now collect disability. Don't like it. I miss the kids. Compassion is not just lacking for those who have served time.
I agree wholeheartedly.
People wonder why the recidivism rate is so high--who wants to work the rest of their life for minimum wage?
I'm especially appalled at the War on Drugs--how many people are in prison for all of those victimless crimes? Had their lives destroyed because of this foolish jihad?
