HELP me pleassee!?
I worked as a waitres for like a month and one day the owner told me don't come to work tomorrow even though i was schedule and said he would called me and tell me when to come in. ok so i'm like do you want me to bring in my uniform too then and he thought for awhile and said ok.
so i'm not sure if he even was to fire me and i called his sister since he doesn't speak much english ( this is a family owned restaurant) and asked her what am i suppose to do and she said just go pick up your pay check tomorrow and i will give you a call tomorrow. She never did and I tried to reach her, but no.
I never used that on an application, but now I have to since I'm
applying for bank of america and they're doing employment check!! wth...what do i put for reason of leaving. its wasn't even an official termination. they're such an unprofessional family .

You can say that you were laid off due to budget cuts or that you quit. Since you weren't officially fired or laid off, I'd go with the latter, that you quit. That's just as accurate as anything else.
*Edit: Your old employer probably wouldn't want to put that you were fired because you'd be more likely to qualify for unemployment benefits. A background check won't reveal whether you were fired. All that could happen is that BoA might call the restaurant and ask if you worked there and between what dates. I promise you that your future employment at BoA won't be jeopardized by this one crappy job.
Tell the next employer that you quit because you didn't feel appreciated/comfortable at the old job.
Legally, if I recall correctly, the new employer isn't allowed to ask your old employer (if they even bother calling them) why you left (or got canned).
Legally, they can only ask the old employer if they would hire you back.
