We all have African gene, why public media didn't make it a public knowledge?
i think it is a very important news specially when it is unrefutable thank to genetical engineering! is it because we don't want to accept this fact ? what would church say about it when they get out of denial or is church still racist? they justified slavery for a long time.or does this research in some ways support evolution theory?! i think we all would like to know where our ancestors come from!
Answers:
Well people just find hard to accept that the first modern humans were black people. The same way the catholic church refuse to accept that there were no "fair skin, blond and blue eyes Jews" on Jesus' time.
I still remember that sometime ago so called "religious people" protested the casting of a black theater actor to play Jesus at a NY play..And they dared to call themselves "Christians"!
Because only people like you make a big deal out of it. What do you want the media to do? Go like "In other news were all descendants of Africans!"
People would prob be like "uhhh so?"
I mean its not common knowledge but its not that big of a deal that we should campaign to tell everyone that they all came from this and that.
We are what we are not what our parents were
everyone who believes in evolution already knows that every person came from a group in africa. What you mean by making it "Public knowledge" is a mystery to me, but the church would deny it, not to be racist, but it supports evolution which is denied by the church because evolution disproves creationism.
evolution theory doesnt exist.its a theory...theres no facts..
Before gentics, it was well taught that migratory patterns centered along key river Valleys and that Africa was a likely first spawning ground for homosapiens. With genetic proof we know this through media articles, many surfaced when this was proven, I belive the scientists called this Gene the "Eve" gene.
Even biblically, it seems reasonable that the Garden of Eden and Eve came out of Africa, so this does not fly in the face of creationism either. In any case, the Eve gene was reported.
Now you might be asking why people don't know this, and hell, more than half of all College students could not find the US less alone Africa on a Map. But that doesn't mean the media keeps the US or Africa's location a secret.
Genesis 2 - (NIV) Adam and Eve
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- 5 and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth [b] and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth [c] and there was no man to work the ground, 6 but streams [d] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- the LORD God formed the man The Hebrew for man (adam) sounds like and may be related to the Hebrew for ground (adamah) it is also the name Adam (see Gen. 2:20). from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin [e] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. [f] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.
But for Adam [g] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs [h] and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib [i] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman, [j] '
for she was taken out of man."
24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

Genesis 11
The Tower of Babel
1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As men moved eastward, [a] they found a plain in Shinar [b] and settled there.
3 They said to each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."
5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."
8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel [c] —because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
