My boyfriend is in jail for resisting arrest and public intoxication hes never been in jail before.?
how long might he be in there 4

You will have to find out how much his bail is. Then it all depends on how long it takes him to get booked. It is Tuesday so the jail shouldn't be too busy so he should get booked quickly. Also since he was intoxicated, he will be put in the intox cell and probably not let out until the nest day. if you can't make bail then he will be in there until the trial. Plus it all depends on the judge that is setting his bond. Since he has resist to arrest the judge may not even allow him to make bail. So anyways there are alot of factors. Call the jail.
TIL HE SEES THAT JUDGE AND GETS RELEASED EITHER BY BAIL OUT OR ON HIS OWN RECONNAISSANCE . TELL HIM IF HE CAN'T HANDLE THE LIQUOR DON'T DRINK
Until the judge sets an amount of money for bail and he (or someone else) posts the bail.
Till he gets a bondsman to bail him out or someone else does, then he will have to go to court and the judge will decide based on his previous history..usually no jail time just probation or community service or something.
depends on how severely he resisted arrest. He will probubly be aboe to post bond and get out until his court date. Then they may put him on probation. Depends on his record and if he hit an officer ert..
Congratulations - hope he's young so the lesson can be put to good use - resisting arrest might keep him in an extra day or so but, considering he can post bail, he should be out as soon as he sees the judge or court commissioner.
It depends on how busy the court system is where he got arrested, but he should be arraigned in the next few days. He'll probably be out on his own recognizance by the end of the week, unless the judge and prosecutor have reason to believe he's a flight risk, or otherwise dangerous to the public.
few weeks..3-4 weeks depends what county he was caught in..get a new man!
Awhile. Hope his new boyfriend is gentle with him.
You have plenty of correct answers here so far. My suggestion however, is for you to find a new boyfriend. He seems to me to be a loser.
Until someone is silly enough to stand bail for him, or until he goes to court. He may get out on his own recognizance (OR) at the bail hearing.
