How do we change this??
To Catch a Predator...we watch hundreds (litterally) of men being caught trying to have sex with minors. The number of predators is astonishing. Its sickening. But I'm finished with wondering how and why they become who they become. My next concern is...why is this not a concern of our government? Because its not. According to the Constitution...everyone deserves rights...rights. rights, rights..what about the rights of the child? WHY do we allow these predators rights? Am I alone in this when I think that if you decide to commit an act against another person (whatever it maybe) that the perosn should lose their rights? WHY should they be allowed rights when they take it upon themselves to take the rights away from someone else? I understand things are a bit more complex and there are many factors that need to come into play. But if there is an abundance of without a doubt evidence on the person..caught red handed type of $h!t (which happens on dateline everytime) WHY...read down

You are not alone, but let me ask you a question: Who defends the rights of the accused? Who defends the rights of the victim?
Think about it ... its rather an uneven fight, isn't it?
The accused has access to whatever attorney he can afford (or the state provides him) ... and the victim has ... ALL OF THE REST OF SOCIETY.
Our forefathers rightly determined that it was an uneven fight and that it was "better that 10 guilty men go free than 1 innocent man go to jail."
Considering how easy it is to frame somebody, considering how powerful the state is, etc ... yeah, its fair.
Don't bring Jesus into this - Christians are less than 50% of the world's population. It is in the minority - the state, the organization that provides "rights" is NOT supposed to represent a minority of the world over the majority of the world.
Let me ask this: How would you feel if YOU had been framed for sexual predation? It happens.
Indeed isn't that one of the most common claims in divorce court? My ex molested our kid...
You're right that this activity initiates force on the minors and should be illegal, which it is.
The Constitution doesn't give jurisdiction over this to the federal government. The crimes all happen within the jurisdiction of one state or another, and they can certainly handle this if they aren't too busy looking for recreational pot smokers.
i agree on most points towards no rights, though it is America and we allow everyone rights. Therefore they too have them, even if they shouldn't, which is complete crap when they are the ones hurting the society. But then again some rights should go for everyone, like fair trial.
