Anyone know how you can fight a old lanlord that says she had to replace things and wants to charge you for it

Not sure where you're from, however, here in Chicago we use the Metropolitan Tenants Association. You can also go to your city website (e.g. cityofchicago.org). Also, call 311. They can usually give you numbers and/or websites that can help w/ landlord-tenant disputes. Every city has a Landlord/Tenant Ordinance that covers the rights of both parties, from A to Z. You should call the Housing Authorities & ask them what you can do to fight it in court. It all depends on the law. Living there for 11 years, you add up all the money you paid on rent & you could have bought yourself a house! & you would have not had to deal with crazy landlords.
