How many continuances can I get in court?

I have a couple citations that I'm still not able to pay,and I already got a continuance on one.So how many am I allowed to get?

Answers:
Depends on the judge, the max is 3 but you might not get any.
Just pay your fines and move on, stop making excuses or you'll end up in jail.
