Some American citizens become so upset over immigration and that immigrants are having it good, but would you?

trade your quality of life with theirs, if you believe they are benefiting more than you?
Would you risk hatred, discrimination, fear of being deported, financial strain, just to receive let's say welfare? or a gardening position? or as a maid? or living in tight quarters? so that one day, perhaps, you may have the chance to see your dreams come true? Im discussing those few that come here with the intent to do good, not to harm...to care for their families, not break the ones already here.

Interesting question.I'll have to see your responses!!
THANX FOR SUPPORTIN US, BUT NO THANX.NO MAMES, THE DISCRIMINATION IS TO YA'LL
WHTEVER U ARE, AND I DONT HAVE NO WELFARE, AND FINANCIAL STRAIN?I GOTS PAPER
Screw em'!!
Of course not. Most don't realize it is the governments fault any of this is happening at all, and nobody is holding them accountable for it.

Illegals do not have it good, and they never will, but they are breaking our laws and we should not stand for that.
I have just one thing to say: Everyone is so concerned with the Mexicans that they're not considering immigrants from other countries. I mean, not only do you treat them like crap because they're not white and speak spanish but everyone else too. Even if they're eduacated!! WTF is wrong with you people!
you mean the everyday person that gets up in the morning to go to work and raise their families and work two jobs and never make ends meet and keep the faith that one day this will be o.k and life will get better, and the next thing you say is where did the time go, I am 52 the kids are gone and my wife and me say where did the time go.....god bless any one that works hard and tries to make their life better for their children and themselves, this country was built by immigrants and do not forget that, and we fight for the freedoms that we are use too.
WHY DON'T THEY ALL GO HOME, AND BUILD THEIR COUNTRY UP, MAKE IT IN TO SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF, IT CAN BE DONE. THERES IS JOBS IN MEXICO THEY JUST DON'T WANT THEM. THEY WOULD RATHER COME HERE DESRESPECT AND DEGRADE OUR COUNTRY. WE DID JUST FINE BEFORE THEY CAME HERE, AND WE'LL DO JUST FINE WITH OUT THEM.
I don't think anyone is arguing with the fact that immigration is a great thing. The problem is the fact that being here without waiting in line is unworkable, immoral, and illegal.

Unworkable: These people have not been immunized, I do not want an outbreak of tuberculosis or hepatitis in areas thought to be sterilized
They do not have social security numbers, do not pay taxes, are not documented citizens. We can't have people earning money in the US without paying the tax to the government. We all do it, we're all Americans, it's how we roll.

immoral: Most of us came from immigrant families, or from freed slaves. Our families waited in line, were spit on, called outsiders, and suffered, but persevered. It was their responsibility, and nobody thought of them as victims. They grew strong from this.
Immigrants today follow the law, and they wait their turn to become a US citizen. Being a US citizen is a priviledge, not a right, and the legal immigrants understand and respect this.

illegal: They've broken the law. Whether they're here to do good or not, the law has been broken. I still have to pay my speeding tickets even though I'm a hard working American. It doesn't give me a free pass to break the law. We must uphold it.

these americans need to shut up. theyre losers, they should let imigrates in easier.

thats what the country's built on, imigrates.
this is just my 2 cents ok.im 50/50 my father caucasian my mother mexican. Yes she came over illegally 40 yrs or so ago. They met and taught each other their native language. They married had the three of us, she of course stopped working after the 1st kid. My mother became a legal resident right after the 1st kid went on to college & graduated w/three children at home. Became a US Citizen making a 93 on the citizenship test, and never once asked for any type of assistance. She never used anyone elses social security #, name and/or credit to apply for anything my mother worked 2 to 3 jobs at a time, jobs that alot of us americans do not want because some feel they are to good for but she did it so I have no problem w/it. What I do have a problem w/is immigrants coming over illegally and using other persons identity such as social security #, names, birth dates and so on to get to what and/or where they want this causes lots of PROBLEMS! No not everyone does it but there are a few that do and those few have made it very difficult for the honest people. Yes my mother was not honest in coming over illegally but she took noones identity nor did she ever use any type of government assistance.
