I have a commercial hire vehicle i am behind in payments can they reposes it if it has run out of rego?

The vehicle was reregistered with new plates. Is the vehicle classified as the same vehicle as before or is it another vehicle all together? Can they still take it or simply sue me for the balance

Any violation of the contract such as non-payment is a valid reason for the repossession of the vehicle.
