In a National emergency , is there a law against storing food ? A food limit ?

Answers:
Probably not but laws against buying a lot of food after the emergency that cause shortages that affect a lot of people are often passed in emergency anti-hoarding laws. If you build it up slowly in preparation, you will be within the law.

well, never heard of a storage limit.
No it isn't against the law to store food.

However. If you store food that can go bad it could be considered a health hazard and become illegal.

I would advise everyone to have a 72 hour kit. You should be able to survive for at least 72 hours without any outside help in case the worst comes.
