Can I sue?

My ex bf knowingly gave me two life long STDs. He acts like its no big deal. What can I do about this? I want to kill him. He won't even talk to me anymore.

Answers:
don't bother, sister. spend time taking care of YOU and forget him. you already invested too much time with the fool. don't ever talk to him again. why should you? he jepordized your life. you deserve better! no shame. just time to move on. law suites take up time, money and fester anger more than any result...not worth it! Tell other people about his infections so he cannot do it to others! this is a great act of love for other sisters! Love yourself and you may just find the cure in the next year for all of it!
if go the way of hate, resentment and lawsuites.. you will be growing cancer in your cells. the pun..."eating away at yourself". Love and forgive your wrong choice of man. There a billions others who will really love you, take care of you and never jeoperdize your health!
My sister went through this, too. she dropped his A and found a cure! She now has a loving husband!

you could kill him. there has to be some law that you can persue... either way that is terrible! you should cut off his penis
I would sure try to sue him. What a creep!
what is STD?
he's probably going to give more females the diseases he should be stopped by the health department and maybe even the law.
It's not like he planned it.. but yeah that sucks.
God answers prayers.
You could talk to a lawyer, about the feasibility of launching a lawsuit.
call a lawyer.
sounds like a great case.

good luck
I'm not sure you can sue since you agreed to have sex with him. You need to check with an attorney. One thing for sure, you can also ask how much you can tell about his STDs when chatting with friends so it gets all over town. If he has herpes, that is the gift that keeps on giving. Make sure you know the boundaries because he probably has more rights than you do being the victim.
cutting off the penus sounds good! lol jk
i think u could sue if u could prove he did it knowingly, which is tough, but i believe in u! go for it!
Make flyers. Post his picture with the caption THIS MAN HAS _____ (fill in the blanks) AND DELIBERATELY INFECTS WOMEN all around his job , places he hangs out, his church, etc.
Nope! You can't sue, pretty sure of that. If the sex between you two was consensual and no form was signed by him stating he had not STD's. Well, I'm sorry. Sex should be with a "spouse" not a "boyfriend" or "girlfriend"

My recommendations
1. Stay away from your ex
2. See a doctor and get treatment
3. Abstain

My hope for you is that one day you'll find a respectable person that can understand your STDs and with protected sex have a loving marriage.
Yes, you can sue him and even have criminal charges filed against him but you'll need some proof/evidence first.
what a prick, seek legal advice straight away, l would not be trying to contact him anyway, he obviously doesnt care, you poor thing!!
thats messed up if your that upset file a lawsuit then go sell your body and give everyone else stds then your not the only one
Anyone can sue anyone for anything, whether you will win is a different story. You might be able to get some money it's a 50/50 chance to win.
You probably don't want to hear this, but it is half you fault. You should always use protection. ALWAYS. I don't think you have a case.
if he knew he had a STD and let you to believe that he never had it, then you can sue for him im pretty sure i think.
You can always sue. Anybody can sue anybody else for anything. The real question is whether you can win.

It sounds to me that you should be able to sue your ex bf and win.

If he knowingly and intentionally, negligently, or recklessly infected you with incurable STDs, that's tortious conduct on his part; and you should be able to recover both compensatory and punitive damages from him.

He may even conceivably be criminally liable for some form of sexual assault or battery.
