Question about State/Federal Law regarding Conjugal (family) Visits?

These states California, Connecticut, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York and Washington. allows conjugal visits, can anyone tell me what State or Federal Laws allow them to have them? Or what State or Federal Laws dont allow other states to have conjugal (family) visits?

Answers:
You'd have to look up the law for each state that allows them. States that don't allow them may not have a law forbidding them, just an absence of a law allowing them. Again, you'd have to research each state's laws to find out.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons does not permit conjugal visits: http://www.bop.gov/inmate_locator/conjug...
