I am an adult charged with shoplifting under $5000 in toronto.?
I have been asked to come for finger prints and court proceeding in a month's time. I m worried will my finger prints stay for ever in the records?
Answers:
Your finger prints will be on file long after you are gone. That's the way it goes.
Should have thought about that before your sticky fingers got you in so much trouble.
Have no fears, your fingerprints will become a PERMANENT part of the CPIC system, accessible nationwide.
Your greater worry is being convicted. There is no crime in having fingerprints on file.
probably will...my advice is to say you're an undocumented alient, learn an obscure African dialect or Eastern European one, then they can't prosecute you because they need to find a translator
hurry, crack those books!
yes...your finger prints will reamain in the system forever. If you were charged as a minor, you can usually get everything sealed, but being charged as an adult waives those rights. They keep your prints for future...basically CSI style...if they find a mysterious print they run it through the system to see if there is a match.
Yes, your fingerprints will remain accessible for later identifying and possible matching at a later date However, it shouldn't be a worry if you don't do anything else illegal.
One word---------DIPWAD !!!
your fingerprints should not be your biggest worry. You will most likely going to jail for a few months to a year.. and yes your fingerprints will be on file for ever!!
