Can anyone help me find a GOOD/cheaper lawyer or attorney??GRAND RAPIDS MI/ LANSING?

in the grand rapids and or lansing area

I caught a gun case

driving my dads car his 44mag gun was in the car and i was going to lansing for 2day vacation and from grand rapids to lansing- then to our cottage up north i was going to drop the gun off to our cottage where it belongs... no bullets.intentions of anything!
um

when i got to my sisters house unpacking everything i took the gun out left it in the car brung the gun case into the house
- now its a bad neighborhood so i kinda thought

It would be better to leave the actual gun in the car- and bring the case in the house bcuz if someone seen me with the case them knowing that its a gun inside of it.. then people would think (oh they have a gun inside the house we aint goin up in there) so i thought it would be best for that.cuz around there nobody leaves anything in cars and their type of backyard is fenced somewhat but still they could get in.they wouldnt try gettin/lookin in the car

I have two ideas for you. First, go to martindale.com. It list lawyers by location and specialty.

Second, call the clerk's office. Ask them who they think is good. They will probably give you three names. The clerks are the people who know everyone's reputation.

Good story.
You're screwed.
Good and cheaper, can't be used in the same sentence, when describing a lawyer.
If you are looking for a good cheap lawyer you need to contact those attorneys that are willing to take a payment plan. Let me explain. Many attorneys will take a case with some money upfront and let you spread payments out over a year or 2. This is the best way to find the best lawyer with little money. What you need to do is find them. Take a look at a dozen or so websites and find those lawyers that promote payment plans. You should be able to find them. Also, look for those attorneys that have been practicing criminal law for many years. These are the attorneys that tend to do well is those that stay within their respected practice area. Lastly, try to find those attorneys that ONLY practice criminal law and to add on the ones that practice the case you described above. I have attached a link for Michigan Criminal Lawyers. Again, start searching websites and search a lot of them. Make a decision on 2-3 and start calling.
