What would you do to michael vick and his buddies if convicted?
is jail good enough for this heinous crime?
My answer:
I don't believe the maximum punishment for a crime of this nature is justice.
Men need to realize we share this planet equally w/ the animal world. For the most part, these animals are defenseless.
Mysterious animal deaths and mutations tip man off to the changing environment. This is a sign to man to make adjustments to prevent further disturbances of the sensitive eco-structure that man is responsible for. Animals are important and shouldn't be abused in a death match for man's entertainment.
If a man can go to jail for 5yrs. because he posessed 10 g of cocaine, then Michael Vick should do 10 yrs. because there is no victim for the crime of possessing cocaine.

No, I don't think you deserved such a hostile answer. This guy is attacking you personally and making judgments about you based solely on a couple sentences you wrote.
I honestly don't understand his reaction, because if he thinks dog fighting is so heinous, I would think he'd agree with what you say about animals being important and not being abused for man's entertainment.
If I were you, I'd forget about it. The over-reaction of a total stranger online isn't worth your time...
IMO, Mr. (and I use the term loosely) Vick should receive the exact treatment that the dogs got.

But you have to keep in mind that dog fighting is and has been a sport in rural areas of all regions of the country for generations. They do not see anything wrong with it.

I can admit that maybe his response may be a little extreme, but that last comment that you made stating "that there is no victim for the crime of possessing cocaine" was pretty lame, actually it was ridicioulus. You answered his question, but I think that maybe he wanted something more direct like " yes I think he should got to jail because".. some people are just like that.
