Any parallels between the NAZI Gestapo tactics/mission, and Homeland Security ICE personnel's tactics/mission?
The Gestapo persecuted and arrested Jews because they violated some kind of law/s, separated families from one another, caused them to loose ALL(!) of their worldly possesions, mistreated and abused defenseless people, and deported them to places of suffering and abuse. And everything, in the name of the Fatherland, it's laws (LOL!), and the purification of the Aryan Race (double - LOL!)...

Gestapo's persecution of the jews wasn't necessary, and it also targeted one specific ethnic group.
ICE's actions ARE necessary, and it targets anyone who breaks the law of illegal immigration regardless of race. It just so happens most of them are hispanic. Have some more respect for law enforcement please.
Similarities are they are both arms of the executive branch of the government. and they both wear black uniforms.
That is where the similarity ends. The SS was judge, jury and executioner and the ICE is just trying to make a dent in the illegal alien problem in the United States.
If the ICE was granted the right to act like the Gestapo then the illegal aliens would be fleeing America instead of coming here in droves.
There is positively no relationship between what any Nazi's did, and what homeland security is doing. Had we been more diligent in the mid 70's much of what is going on today could have been cut off early. Homeland security is securing our country from people who wish to destroy our country. The Jews did not wish to destroy Germany. Homeland Security is catching up with people who are here illegally with intent to defraud and destroy, and rob our country. The Jews in Germany were Citizens of Germany. Very weak trying to make case to say Homeland Security and the Gestapo are almost the same. You sound like a person who doesn't care for the Power of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act, and you'll be the first posting when something bad happens wondering why homeland Security didn't prevent it.

The Nazis exterminated the Jews, because the people of Germany did not like Jews. There was no way for a Jew to legally become an Aryan.
Every nation has some kind of limit on how many people can be into the nation, and has to remove the excess unwanted. This is not being done by torturing and killing them. There are many ways for people who want to come to a nation to come legally.
If you do not like the forced evacuation of people who came to this country illegally, there is another way ... we could have one person in 20 just shot dead, irrespective of whether they are here legally or not ... you can volunteer to be the first of those people.
