no the answers is to give proper sentences to all offenders regardless of their age a person should only be sentenced to death if they are a paedophile, rapist or terrorist, the UK has serious problems with criminals of all ages unfortunately it is assumed all crime is by youths. i am only 20 i have no convictions, am not a yob and work in private security. i have had experiences where i have worked plain clothes at events and have apprehended a person for committing a criminal act on site (usually drug dealing but other offences such as assault also) and when dealing with older people it has been assumed i am a yob and people have tried to assist the person i am detaining until i have support of uniformed security i don't think it is fair to judge someone on their age judge them on their behaviour and punish them appropriately regardless of their age
