I am being harrassed?
what do i do? My ex-husbands friend is harrasing me, telling me i will never see my daughter again (my husband has my daughter and won't let me see her) and that i should just go kill myself. i don't knwo what to do, i just can't call the police because what can they REALLY do? there have not been any threats to my life or anything so i am stuck, what should i do to make this man stop?

Okay! First to remember is u gotta act smart to survive in this legal system. It may seem in our judicial system that calling police will solve all the problems. The fact is not. Simply calling police or complaining to court won't bring u any desired result.
I know! it isn't fair!
So, I suggest u to start recording the conversation (threats) to have proof. Then, u go to the court and request restraining order.
Or have him do something bad to u (but not any serious bodily harms to u), and put him in trap (meaning have some proofs of what he did) and go to court.

Call the police and explain your plight. They can help.
the police can arest him on charges of harassment and by taking it to court you can get a... oh dear i just drew a blank... restraining order! that's it, which i believe can also apply ot phone contact and such and if he ignores such an order you can have him put in jail.
you should seriously go down to the police station and tell them what is going on. I'm sure the police will help you keep u and your family safe while you are in this tragic obstacle.

I don't know if you know this but your husband and this guy friend of his are partners as in gay partners!!
If he is calling you on the phone to do this, it IS illegal, he doesn't have to be threatening your life. If you are seeing him in person, can you possibly avoid him? If not, just say with a smile "We'll see" when he says you won't get your daughter. If you REFUSE to let him see it bother you, he will get nothing from it and will stop.
Try to record what he says ... specially the threats ... and go to the police and let them hear it ... they can do something ..
cut off all communication you can possibly have with him. call the phone company and have his number blocked from calling you... or just get someone to kick his asss.
