Are employees legally required to take breaks even if they don't want to?

I work on a lawn mowing crew and we don't like to break because we lose energy and momentum. My boss says that he would gladly allow us paid breaks if we wanted them. Of course, he isn't with us in the field, and we are more or less free to set our own schedule. Our days can be anywhere from 8-12 hrs. Are we required legally to take breaks in Ontario, Canada?

Answers:
in the US you have to take a break if you work that many hours or the company you work for can get into trouble.
