My situation about past depression and joining the military.?

I recently got my medical records back to give to my recruiter, I looked them over and the first few pages are pretty discouraging. I attempted suicide and was later discharged a few hours later, I have many scars on my legs and wrist, but I am 110% better. This was March of 2006, over a year ago, I also havent been on meds since. Will this disqualify me? Can i casually leave those pages out, or is it a very big criminal offense if they do find out I took those pages out? Also, do recruiters know how medical records are set up and organized? Mine are not in a very stratigic order and I am hoping he will just glance through them and decide I wont need a waiver. Or do you know if he looks heavily into these documents? Anything helps, thanks guys.

Answers:
No they don't (at least I didn't). Take that crap out and don't mention it. However, if you are the subject of a security clearance investigation, it might come back to haunt you.

You can not hide the papers from a recruiter
leave it out, the military recruiter seem desperate anyway. i dont think you get any charges because its not such a big deal.
yea, leave it out. But the guys right, if you apply for security related jobs(any good jobs in the military) it will come back to bite. Not that you'll be in big trouble, you just probaly won't get that job your hoping for to get you out of peon work.
I'm not sure, but I don't think you have to give all your medical records to recruiters. They have you fill out a government form asking you if you've ever suffered from any of a bunch of different conditions. Then if you answer yes to any of those questions, they'll ask you for the medical records relating to that condition. But not your medical records for everything. But like I said, I'm not sure. You should get someone else to confirm that. But keep it in mind.
Heres an answer to all those problems, DO NOT JOIN THE MILITARY.

just don't.
mssg, me for more reasons.
